CLAYTON, N.M. - Marie Inez Kear , 88, died Friday, April 4, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Clayton with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, and the Rev. J.L. Trammel, pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Purcell, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Kear was born Nov. 22, 1914, in Pennington to Floyd Benton Crist and Ethel Lockhart Crist. She and Beecher moved to Oklahoma City in 1952 and returned to Clayton in 1953.
Survivors include two sons, Roland Kear and Rex Kear , both of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Wanda Hamilton and Rita Niece, both of Clovis, Pat Owen and Juanell Dubiel, both of Oklahoma City; a daughter-in-law, Jean Kear of Clayton; two sisters, Mable Root of Denver and Florine Pennock of Las Cruces; three brothers, Douglas Crist and Garland Crist, both of California, and Ronald Crist of Hereford; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
