Atchley, Randall Mark, age 51, of South Knoxville, passed away suddenly while jogging from a heart attack on Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was an active member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church. Randy was a TSSAA Football Official. He was an engineer with Gerdau (Ameristeel). Randy was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors but his greatest love was his wife and two children. He was preceded in death by father, Alvin Atchley. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Beth Hofferbert Atchley and children, Austin and Haley Atchley, all of Knoxville; mother, Glenna Atchley; sister, Teri Butcher and husband Butch; brother, Jerry Atchley and wife Ann; mother-in-law, Buna Hofferbert and a host of other relatives. Family will receive friends 2pm – 4pm Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Alcoa First United Methodist Church with a memorial service following at 4 pm. Rev. Bill Shelton and Rev. Joe Green will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Alcoa First United Methodist Church, 617 Gilbert St. Alcoa, TN. 37701 or Scout Troop 457, 3805 Maloney Rd.
