Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Adean Biggs Hampton Van Orden and brother, Mark Ray Van Orden. She is survived by her husband, Carl A. Mathes ; children, Leslie R. Ewy, Kevin A. Roberts and Alyson K. Roberts; sister, Nancy Van Orden Tickle; grandson, John Franklin Ewy; father and spouse Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Ray Van Orden. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Slaughter Road with Bishop Brent Zitting officiating.
