Frank Patton, age 88 of Maryville, went to Heaven on Monday, March 28, 2016, at his home. He was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA after 44 years of service and was an avid hunter and gardener. Mr. Patton was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was dedicated to his family and friends. He was an unsung hero to his Church, friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Jo Cooper; parents, Alfred and Abbie Patton;
brothers, Alvin, James and Arvil; sister, Alta.
Survivors include his loving wife and caregiver of 56 years, Ruby Quinton Patton; children, Brenda (Lloyd) Lawhon, Gary (LJ) Cowden, Teresa (Chet) Hart, Denise (Ronnie) Irwin, Sharon (Mike) Holder; grandchildren, Kevin (Jenni) Olivet, Niki (Scott) Love, Chelsea (Allen) Tipton, Heather Ledbetter, Anthony Pratt; great grandchildren, Alexis Ferguson, Kyler Love, Hunter Olivet, Gracie Love, Adelyn Olivet, Fischer Tipton, Jett Olivet; sisters, Ada and Rosie; brothers, John, Glenn and Charles; several nieces and nephews
The family would like to thank Pam B. and Pam H. of U. T. Hospice.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Laurel Bank Cemetery for the interment service.
Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
