Lundy, Billy Glenn, 66 of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 13, 2014. Billy was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He worked at ALCOA for 23 years and was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Cleda Lundy; brother, Coy Lundy; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Don Flynn. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Selma (Davis) Lundy; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Lundy and Carole Van Dyke; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Aaron Cate; grandchildren, Jeremy Haire, Heather Dalton, and Phillip Cate; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Berry Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 8:00pm with Rev. Tim Miller and Rev. J. B. Caylor officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 12:30pm to leave in procession to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30pm graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sevier Heights Building Fund, 3232 Alcoa Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
