He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Grace Eakins; brothers, Charles and Jess, Jr. Eakins; and sister, Kathryn Tipton. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Eakins; daughters and son-in-law, Lee Ann and Rick Maddux of PA and Tammy Watkins of Rockford; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Nina Young of Walland; four granddaughters; one grandson; sister, Betty Henry; brother, Paul Eakins; brothers-in-law and spouses, Jim and Carolyn McCammon and John and Marilyn McCammon all of Seymour and Kenneth Tipton of Maryville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends will gather 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Clark’s Grove Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Doug Tipton officiating.
