Fine, age 89 of Newport went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015. Joyce was born April 17, 1925. She was the daughter of Geneva and Ernest Thurlowe of Norwich, England. She attended Centerview Freewill Baptist Church. She attended faithfully until her illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Fine; son, Clifford “B” Fine, Jr.; grandson, Shawn Vinson; and son-in-laws, Harold and Randal “Rod” Cagle. She is survived by her children, Christine (Roger) Stokely, Cheryl Cagle, Nigel (Barbara) Fine, Trudy (Luther) Vinson, Benita Cagle, Miles (Cherie) Fine, Heather (Larry) Shults, Tyrone Fine; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Messer and Carl Bryan officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 30, 2015 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday prior to funeral services.
