U.S. Veteran Charles M. “Buck” Turner, age 76, of Del Rio, went to be with the Lord, June 24, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. He served in the Air Force in Korea. He worked at Pratt & Whitney Air Craft in East Hartford, CT, for 32 years, when he retired to his family home in Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Julia Turner; sister, Pauline Johnson; son, Richard Harbour; and great-grandson, Nicholas Trang. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Turner; children, Gary (Katherine) Turner of MA; Tammy Tran of MS; Sharon Gaudet of CT; Rich Harbour of the home; Cindy (Jim) Douglass of Al; Paul (Laurie) Harbour of MA; Kim Mathis of Newport; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and loving niece, Paula Williams. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Friday, June 27, 2014 in Union Cemetery, with military honors. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
