He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ernestine Jones; and brothers, Jack, George, Charlie, and Frank Jones. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Jones of Newport; sons, James Jones and wife Judy of Morristown, Charles Jones and wife Lisa of Gastonia, N.C.; stepson, Neil Kell and wife Patsy of Lowell, N.C.; daughters, Marie Terrell and husband William of Dale City, VA and Gwendolyn Huffman of Belmont, N.C.; brother, Mack Jones of Morristown; sisters, Marie Gray of Arlington, VA and Georgia Mae Wilson of Morristown; also 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Crane officiating with burial in the Graham Cemetery.
