Howard K. Cobble Sr., 80, of Morristown, died Sunday at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Center.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mr. Cobble retired from American Enka after 32 years of service.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Cobble was the widower of Ruby Cobble and a son of the late Roy and Myrtle Cobble. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons their wives: Howard Kenneth Cobble Jr. and his wife, Candia, of Greeneville, and Ron and Bea Cobble and Edward and Claudia Cobble, all of Wilmington, Del.; his grandchildren and their spouses: Kristi and Tony Prince, Melissa and Jonathan Holcomb, Howard K. Cobble III and his wife, Meghan, Kevin Cobble, Becky and Shawn Hensley, Kathy and Joey Fullington, Jason and Joanna Cobble, and Roy Edward Cobble Jr.; several great-grandchildren; a sister: Dorothy Kate Lowe of Greeneville; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today at Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. J.B. Gulley will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in Sherwood Chapel Memorial Gardens in Blount County.
