McLEMORE , MR. JAMES L. - age 52, of McLemore Lane, Maynardville, passed away 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2001, at his home. He was a member of Browns Gap Baptist Church, U. S. Army Veteran, and member of the National Guard #278, Knoxville. He was preceded in death by parents, Luther and Vesta (Henegar) McLemore , and grandson, Brandon James McLemore . Survivors: wife, Virginia McLemore of Maynardville; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Brandy McLemore of Knoxville, and James Luther McLemore , Jr. of Knoxville; step children, Patrick Riley of Maynardville, Ann Marie Fitzpatrick of Maynardville, Loretta Beniamino of Pennsylvania, Virginia McMillan of Luttrell, and James Riley of Maynardville; grandchildren, Dylan and Kayla McLemore , Mason McLemore , Virginia, Brandon and Tyler Riley, and a host of other grandchildren; sisters, Wanda and Warren Beeler of Knoxville, and Darlene and Lynn Hammond of Knoxville, Laura Ann McLemore of Alcoa, and Phyllis Sharrod of Knoxville, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Archie Elliott and Bro. Steve Mitchell officiating, with music by Kelly Fitzpatrick. Interment in Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville, with Military Graveside Rites by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Daniel Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Patrick Riley, James Riley, Douglas McMillan, and Steve Mitchell. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday. Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville.
