Woodson "Woody" Eugene Huskey , age 63, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2006.
For many years, Robert was a very active and devoted member of the Ebernezer United Methodist Church. Woody was the president of the Men's Club and he founded the annual Barbecue Fundraiser. His great joy was traveling, music, yard work, and most of all he loved being surrounded by his family. Woody was retired from Oak Ridge X-10/Y-12 where he retired after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Flora Huskey ; and his brother, George.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 10 years, Patricia; his daughters, Lisa Caroline Rogers, Nicole Jeannine Huskey , his stepsons, LTC Joseph T. Martini and wife Kelly, and Michael Edward Martini; and his grandchildren, Travis James, Kyle Joseph and Megan Cole.
He left behind many friends and relatives.
Woody's memorial service will take place on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Highland West Funeral Home, with a celebration of Woody's life following at 8 p.m.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Highland West Memorial Garden with the Rev. Ann Robins officiating.
