Bernice Teffeteller Lindsey Weaver, of Newnan, Ga., formerly of Maryville, entered into her heavenly home on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Maryville, to H. Lee and Hessie Teffeteller. She was preceded in death by parents; and late husbands, Virgil L. Lindsey, and Charles F. Weaver; daughter, Judith Ann Goddard; sister, Hazel Lowe. Bernice retired in 2004 from Wynn’s Sports World in Alcoa where she was assistant manager. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Renee’ Lindsey and Steve Sands; grandchildren, Marty Goddard (Dawn), Lee Butcher (Jennifer), Bridgette Triplicata (Joseph); and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Dyer; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Vivian Teffeteller. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville, Rev. Marty Goddard officiating. The family and friends will meet at East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. Sunday for graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
