Preceded in death by parents, Everett and May Carico ; stepmother, Imogene Carico ; sister, Edith Choate; brothers, Marvin Carico and Richard Carico , Sr. Survivors: wife, Sue Huskey Carico ; son and daughter-in-law, James Barnett and Rebecca Carico of Friendsville; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Brian Frazier of Maryville; grandchildren, Joshua Carico and Kylie Carico ; brother-in-law, Harold Choate of Galax, Va.; sisters-in-law, Ruth Carico of Hopewell, Va., Rose Huskey and Vendeda Tulloch, both of Maryville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2001, Magnolia Chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Rev. Kenny Tucker and Rev. Greg Long officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church, 2438 Wilkinson Pike, Maryville, TN 37803, or the American Diabetes Association, Tennessee Affliate, 4205 Hillsboro Rd., Suite #200, Nashville, TN 37215-9805.
