Lucille Basinger Dyke, age 87 of Bybee passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Newport Health and Rehab. She was a member of Fowlers Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Dyke; mother, Charlotte Moore Basinger; father Jacob Basinger; sisters, Mary Basinger Blazer, Claudia Basinger Holt, Cora Basinger Parks and Innis Basinger Walton; brothers, Joe Basinger and Marvin Basinger. She is survived by her sons, Bobby N. Dyke and wife, Jane Dyke and Harry W. Dyke and Debbie Mardis; grandsons, Tommy Dyke and wife, Amanda Dyke and Bobby Dyke; brother, L.V. Basinger; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Manes Funeral Home West Chapel with Rev. Mike Elkins and Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 13, 2014 at Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday prior to funeral services.
