BYRD, WAYNE ANDERSON - age 77 of Halls, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell. Mr. Byrd was a Shriner-Kerbela Temple/Bright Hope Lodge #557 F&AM. He was retired from Pet Dairy and JBM, Inc. Preceded in death by: parents, Anderson and Vergie Byrd sister, Mary Nell Davis son-in-law, Ruel C. Ball , Jr. Survived by: wife, Norma (Webb) Byrd daughter, Sherry Ball grandsons, Brent Ball and Matt Ball , all of Halls brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Alliene Byrd, James and Trudy Byrd, Ted and Della Webb of Knoxville, Fred and Joyce Massengill of Birmingham, Ala. brother-in-law, Bob Davis of Rock Hill, S.C. Family and friends will meet at 2:15 pm. Sunday, April 23 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service and interment with Dr. Phil Young officiating. Pallbearers: Brent Ball , Matt Ball , Scott Webb, Chris Webb, Mark Massengill, and David Lusk.
