Ola Effler, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Friday , January 20, 2012 at Fairpark Health Care Center. She was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, David Henry and Lela McNeilly; Husbands, George Self and Boyd Effler; son, Jerry Self; brothers, Ruffice McNeilly, Ben Robert McNeilly, Ernest Lee McNeilly; sisters, Elizabeth McNeilly and Mary Ruth McNeilly. Survivors include her son, Robert L. McNeilly; daughter-in-law Elsbeth McNeilly; grandchildren, Betty Menk, Kathy Schicketanz, and Robert L. McNeilly Jr.; great grandchildren, Jennifer and Sebastian Menk, Kristy and Nadine McNeilly, and Leon Schicketanz (all living with families in Germany). Surviving brothers and sisters; Vina Mae Brantley, Wanda Lorene Daniels, and James Edward McNeilly. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
