Rubye Leanna Maddron Morris, age 72, of Newport, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Maddron; parents, Warren and Bertha Campbell; sisters, Beulah Mae Benson and Betty Jo Dalton; brother, Johnny Wilson Campbell. She is survived by her husband, William W. Morris of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Rosie Maddron of Charleston, TN; daughter, Glenda Maddron of Knoxville; brothers, Charles “Billy” Campbell and wife Yvonne of Newport, Buddy Edward Campbell of Newport; sisters, Sarah Lou Dalton of Cosby, Stella Freshour of Parrottsville, Polly Sue Stuart and husband Jesse of Parrottsville, Bertha Jean Coggins and husband Tim of Cosby; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; also several special friends and other family. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home West Chapel, with Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating. Burial will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in Union Cemetery, grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
