Sarah Dalton, age 88, of Cosby, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Morristown, TN. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dalton; daughter Betty Olson; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and her mother and father.
She is survived by her daughters, Gerri Dalton, Jackie (Ruble) Murray, and Marjorie Ford; sons Jimmy (Debbie) Dalton, Darrell (Carrie) Dalton, and Rick Dalton; 22 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
