He was preceded death by his parents, Carl and Angeline Leatherwood Taffer ; wife, Nancy Taffer ; brother, Big Jim Taffer ; sister-n-law, Diana Taffer and niece Denna Taffer . Survivors include his sons, Dale Taffer and wife, Ronda, Jimmy Taffer and wife, Alison; brother, Ray Taffer ; grandchildren, Cody Taffer , Shannon and Brice Blair, Tara Thompson, Stacy Arender, Kris and Bobbie Arender; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, Marsha Buttry and husband, Gary, Dee Dee Taffer ; 3 great nieces and nephews. Services will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. David Newman and Rev. Hudson Chesteen officiating.. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 A.M.
