QUALLS , WILLIAM E. - age 79, of Sevierville, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at his home. Mr. Qualls was a veteran of WWII, retired after 37 years from KUB and was a member of Williams Falls Church of God. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Edward in 1973. Mr. Quialls is survived by his loving family: wife, Mrs. Bertha Townsend Qualls , Sevierville; daughter and son-in-law, Billie Jo and Charlie Bruce, Kingston; son, Robert L. Qualls , Sevierville; grandchildren, Tijuana Jo Rockwell, Ronnie Ramsey, Tracey Qualls , and Robert Landon Qualls , II; great-grandchildren, Tessie, Bradley and Brittanni; and one niece and three nephews. Mr. Qualls is at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Family and friends will gather for graveside services at 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Charlie Bruce officiating.
