December 16, 1922 - December 30, 2016 Resided in Dandridge, TN Ina Reecie Townsend, 94, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was a woman of strong faith and shared her walk with Christ with her family. Ina cared deeply for her family and will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Conley Townsend, Sr.; parents, Dave and Ollie Metcalf; and four brothers. Ina is survived by her children, Wanda Coletta, Charlene Lawson, Hobert Conley Townsend, Jr., and his wife, Lois, Alice Shults, and Linda Whaley and her husband, David; brother, Winford Metcalf and his wife, Agnes; sisters, Verol Reagan and her husband, Jim, and Doris Franklin; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 9great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, January 2nd with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel. Rev. Jim Kitts and Bishop Curtis Manning will be officiating. Family and friends will leave in procession at 10 AM Tuesday from Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville to Mount Zion Cemetery for the graveside service and interment. Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers and her great-grandchildren will be Honorary Pallbearers.
