Frankie Lou Pierce, age 63, of Newport , died Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Frank Thomas Pierce and Lanora Cogdill Pierce, brothers Franklin Pierce, Orville Pierce, and Rondal Pierce, and sister Ruby Pierce. Survivors include sisters Loretta Ann Worley and Retta Dean Pierce, only child Vickie Lynn Evans, and grandchildren Justin Glen Shelton, Megan Brooke Shelton, and great-grandson Jonah Glen Shelton. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at Parrottsville Church of God with Pastor Mark Renner officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30—6:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. At her request, Ms. Pierce was cremated.
