Quillen, DVAMC, Mountain Home, Tenn. He was a farmer by trade and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Orville is preceded in death by his father, Frank Thomas Pierce ; brothers, Franklin Pierce , of New Jersey, and Ronald Pierce , of Del Rio; and a sister, Ruby Pierce , of Del Rio. He is survived by his wife, Judy Shelton Pierce , of the home; mother, Nora Cogdill Pierce , of Parrottsville; children, Robbie, Michael, Scottie, and Byron Pierce , all of Del Rio; sisters, Ratta Pierce , of Jefferson City; Frankie Pierce , of Parrottsville; and Ann Worley, of Del Rio. Orville will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Drake, and Clay Pierce , all of Del Rio; a special niece, Kaitlyn Self; special nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Friday, June 1, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Interment will follow at Clark Cemetery, Deep Gap.
