James David Gunter, age 66, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away October 19, 2013, after a short illness.
He was formerly of Cosby, TN.
He loved the time he spent with his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Estelle Gunter, brother J. C. Gunter, all of Cosby, and daughter Shannon of Thomasville.
David is survived by his wife Phyllis Clark Gunter, sons Shane and Shawn and daughter Shanda, five grandchildren, brothers Y. J. of High Point, NC, Charles, Terry, and Larry of Cosby, sisters Barbara Hunt and Sue Hall, both of Cosby, and Phyllis Frisbee, Carolyn Rollins, and Gail Black, all of Newport; and his four-legged buddy Oliver.
He was laid to rest in Holly Hills Cemetery, Thomasville, NC.
