Irene Stinnett Ownby, age 86 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Sevier County Health Care Center. She was a member of Pearl Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ownby was preceded in death by parents Auther W. and Molly Stinnett; husband John W. Ownby; infant daughter Zuenne Ownby; sisters Kate Wilson, Leona Barnes, Mayme Watson, Pauline Watson and Ruth Lamons; brothers Sam, J.B. and Frank Stinnett.

Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Tom McMahan officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Sunday in Marion Ownby Cemetery for interment. Pallbearers will be Junior Watson, Cody McCarter, Stacy Henshaw, Richard Lindsey, David Lewis, Jesse Atchley and David Stinnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Justus, Daniel Watson, Wayne and Brady France. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
