November 9, 1943 - February 8, 2017 Resided in Sevierville, TN James Freeman Watson, age 73 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He and his sons own and operate Watson Excavating. Mr. Watson was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a lifelong racing enthusiast and had been a race car owner since 1994. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Minnie Watson; siblings, Junior Watson, Jenella Justus and Reba Spence. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Eugenia Watson; children, Rickey Watson and wife Donna, Dale Watson and wife Lisa, Jamie Boyle and husband Chris; grandchildren, Chelsea Burnette and husband Casey, Ryan Watson and wife Chelsea, Garret Boyle, Alexis Boyle, Colby Boyle; great-grandchildren, Kingston Watson and Baby Burnette (on the way); brother, Rex Watson, Max Watson and wife Wanda; brother-in-law, Jock Justus; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 4-6:45 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Ted McMahan will officiate.
