RICHMOND, Ind. - Charles James "Chuck" Oatman Jr., age 45, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Reid Hospital. He was born March 31, 1968, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to Charles James Sr. and Mary E. Wilson Oatman. Chuck loved animals. He was easy-going and easy to get along with. Survivors include his parents; four children; sisters, Susie, Mary Lou, and Sarah; step-sisters, Diane (James) Chism of Richmond, Susie (Butch) Nossett of Richmond, Kathy (Wayne) Browning of Richmond, and Gina Williamson of Cambridge City; step-son, Billy (Patty) McCarter of Tennessee; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Margaret Foreman Oatman, and step-cousin, Mike Spires. A public graveside service for Charles James "Chuck" Oatman Jr. will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2013, at Chester Cemetery with Rev. Martin Holman officiating.
