BYERS , HENRY JACKSON - age 72, passed away March 17, 2001 at East Tenn. Baptist Hospital. Retired from Rohm & Haas after 30 years. Member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Veteran of the United States Air Force. Member of AOPA and Skyranch Airfield. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Cora McCammon Byers ; sisters, Betty Ann Tauscher & Jane Lincoln. Survivors; wife, Dianne Byers ; daughter and son in law, Paige and Johnny Dailey; and precious granddaughter, Amber Lauren Dailey; brothers, Wayne C. Byers , The Honorable John K. Byers and wife, Zenda; sister, Carol Barling of Ark.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Rev. S.L. Spangler, Jr. officiating. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lewis Littreal, James Meschandorf, Mike Winkle, Bob Lincoln, Earl Lincoln, Bryan Smith, and William Byers . Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Winkle and Brown Lloyd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 6632 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, Tenn. 37920. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
