Jones, 90, of Newport, passed Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Newport Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was a life long member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church and a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband W. C. (Dub) Jones; father, Fred Calfee; mother, Bernice Holt Luster; and brothers, Zack and Bryon Luster. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Grant Walker, of Newport, Carlene Jones and Larry Callihan, of Newport; brother, Robert Luster, of White Pine; sisters, Dorcas Ivy, of Morristown, Connie Ivy, of White Pine; grandchildren, Janet and Mike Haag, of Newport, Katherine McGaha a student of M.T.S.U.; great grandson, Grant Haag a student of M.T.S.U; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 29, 2012 at New Home Freewill Baptist Church, with Reverend John Hudson and Reverend Doug King officiating.
