Webb, Wanda Faye Sams, age 86, of South Knoxville, born November 5, 1927, went to be with her Savior April 16, 2014 at Island Home Park. She was a member of South Knoxville Worship Center Assembly of God, where she was active in the women's missionary group and past member of Island Home Assembly of God. Wanda enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, southern gospel music, and being a mom and mamaw. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Salomia Sams; sons, Michael and Steve Webb; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles D Webb; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Stephen Dyer; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Agnes Hill and Barbara Clark; brother-in-law, Gary Clark; special friend David Rhodes. The family would like to extend special thanks to Island Home Park and to Caris Hospice Care for taking such good care of Wanda. The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with a 7:00 funeral service with Pastor Stan Kasior, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, April 19, 2014, for a 3:00 graveside service.
