He was a retired construction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark H. and Molly Crumpley Evans . He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Atkins) Evans of Newport; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon ( Evans ) and Jeff Gladback of Salt Lake City, Utah; and grandchildren, Donna and Amanda Gladback of Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside service will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at New Home Cemetery with Brother John Bugg officiating. Military rites will be provided by Lance Corporal Charles C. Roberts D.A.V. Chapter #102.
