He is survived by his sisters Stella Brown, Pauline Evans Brown, and Valerie Hansen, brothers Kenneth, Chester, and Levi 'Buster' Atkins, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Brown Funeral Home with Brother John Bugg officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the services. A graveside service will follow in the New Home Cemetery.
