Mr. McMahan was born in Union County, son of the late W.W. and Rachel M. McMahan . He was a retired employee of LRC Truck Lines Inc. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Francine; stepsons, John Rousey, Dennis Rousey; daughters, Barbara Ann Wall, Janice Patrick; stepdaughter, Robin Diaz of Lula, Ga.; brothers, Dennis McMahan of Great Falls, Charles McMahan of Oscoda, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Hyatt, Mrs. Imogene Rollings; nine grandchildren.
