Kimberly ”Kim” Chutshaw, age 48, of Newport, passed away suddenly , Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Kim will best be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her beautiful smile, her laughter, her loving and caring ways, her big heart, and her compassion ….. especially for her furry four legged animals. Kim loved passionately the simple things in life…. the outdoors, gospel music, and cherished time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Lisa Cutshaw McMillan; per paternal grandparents, Carson and Ruth Cutshaw; her maternal grandparents, Conard and Ida Mae Bowman and several beloved aunts and uncles. She is survived by her loving son, Chad Holdway; her parents, Hal and JoAnn Cutshaw, a very special niece, Brooke McMillan Haynes and husband Josh Haynes and a great niece Ava Haynes. She is also survived by her loving longtime life companion, Tommy Hudson and his son Byron “Bear” Hudson who Kim loved dearly and thought of as her own son too. Kim is also survived by her furry cherished four-legged companions, Austin, Jessie, Casey, Camie and beloved deceased Max; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and dearly loved relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2013 with a memroial celebration of Kim’s life following at 7:00 pm, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T. R. Gosnell officiating. In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Newport Animal Shelter or a charlity of your choice.
