He was preceded in death by his father, David Downey and step-father, Douglas Chambers. Survivors include, mother, Barbara Chambers; sister and brother in law, Deborah and James Lunsford; sisters, Davida Downey and Trina Young; twin brother, Brian Downey all of Maryville; nephews, Dustin Blevins, Darren Blevins, Elliot Steele, Eli Steele and Cory Downey; nieces, Josie Ramsey Delozier, Jessica Sparks, Jennifer Sparks, Ashley Young and Shelby Downey; great niece, Kaylee Ramsey Delozier. He will be missed by a host of family and friends. Special thanks to Darren Blevins for all the care he had given. Graveside service 2:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2009 at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Bill Wilson officiating.
