He was a member, deacon and church clerk at Round Mountain Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Lurlie Grigsby. He is survived by his wife, Martha Grigsby, of Del Rio; mother, Iowa Grigsby, of Del Rio; sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Tonya Grigsby, of Dandridge, and Jeff and Vonda Grigsby, of Del Rio; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Denise Grigsby, of Newport; grandchildren, Brandon and Brittney Grigsby, of Dandridge; step-grandchildren, Steve Moore and Mellany Bailey, both of Newport; and nephew, Justin Grigsby, of Newport. The funeral will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Round Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. David Marshall and Rev. Leslie Griffie officiating. The body will lie in state 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral. The burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery.
