FISHER , ROBERT ALAN ( BOBBY ) age 47 of Blaine, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at the VA Hospital in Nashville. Bobby was loved and respected by his family and loving friends. Member of Little Valley Baptist Church and US Marine Corps. Veteran serving in Desert Storm as a Gunnery Sergeant. Preceded in death by father, Frank Fisher . Survivors include: wife, Karen Fisher ; son, Jesse Fisher ; mother, Nina Fisher ; brother, Kenny Fisher ; sisters, Beverly Rippel and Judy Davis and husband Mick; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Reece and Cathy Hewitt; nephews, Daniel, Mason and Jake. Funeral services will be 8 pm Thursday, May 31, 2007 in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Greer officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Little Valley Cemetery for an 11 am interment. Military honors to be provided by the East Tennessee Veteran Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: the Jesse Fisher Education Fund, c/o Citizens Bank and Trust of Grainger County, PO Box 10, Blaine, TN 37709. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
