She attended Salem Baptist Church for the past 70 years. She taught Sunday School and was a faithful member. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esco and Elizabeth Brown; grandson, Terry Henegar; sisters, Imogene Green and Cotton Myers. Survivors include husband of 67 years, Arnold Henegar; daughter and son in law, Pat and Dale Bailey; son and daughter in law, Jerry and Geraldine Henegar; grandchildren, Renee Bailey, Sherri Fagan and husband Sonny, Matt Henegar, Mandy Prince and husband Stacy; great grandchildren, TeriJo and Macy Fagan, Samanda Prince, and Logan Matthews; brother, J.W. Brown; sisters, Betty Jo Jackson, Ilene Page and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Bob and Barbara Charlton. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday March 23, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church, Rev. Toby Downey and Rev. Gene Gann officiating. Interment service will follow at Church cemetery.
