Mrs. Bobbie Gail Sheets age 65, of Glendale Springs, North Carolina, died Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Sheets was born May 2, 1948, in Newport, TN to Robert Burnett and Reba Large Sentels. Mrs. Sheets was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Judean McGallard and Dee Cody. Mrs. Sheets was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church for 30 years.
Mrs. Sheets is survived by her husband of 49 years Herman Ross Sheets; three daughters Denise Woodie and husband Keith, Leslie Williams and husband Buster, all of Glendale Springs and Natalie Sheets of the home; one sister Joann Rutherford of Tennessee; three grandchildren Matthew Woodie and wife Mandy, Gavin Woodie and Bobbie Jean Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Woodie, Pastor Sonny Thomas and Rev. Russell Sheets. The family received friends from 6:00--8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to High Country Health Care System Hospice, PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640.
