Mrs. Dorothy Ann Haney Mooneyham, age 69, of Newport, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013, at Tennova Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Della Haney, sister Ruby Kiestler, and brothers Doyle Haney and Charles Everette Haney. Survivors include her son Michael Haney of Newport, grandsons Steven Haney and Michael A. Haney, both of Newport; brother Junior Haney of Newport; and sisters Gertie Holt of Newport and Sarah Blaine of South Carolina. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Ball officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00—8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 3, 2013, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy [S58] Marriage Certificate.
