Bethel (Betty) Montgomery passed away May 25th, 2011 at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Betty was born October 10, 1933 to Charley Luther and Mae Burleson Robertson in Seminole, Oklahoma. Betty married William G.(Bill) Montgomery on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1952. After transferring to different areas of Oklahoma, they settled in in Yukon in 1965. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yukon for many years as well as Faith Tabernacle. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles and Haskell Robertson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Montgomery, sons Danny Montgomery of Yukon, David Montgomery, and his fiancé, Dianne Marsh of Yukon, and her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Daniel Ellis of Tuttle, as well as two grandchildren, William Ellis and his fiancé Kristen, Andrea Ellis Bean and her husband Ronny, and brother in law and his wife Eldon Montgomery and Ruth Montgomery, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Steve Drabek and all of the wonderful folks at Frontier Hospice for taking such good care of her and the family. She was precious to us and we cannot describe how thankful we are for your excellent care and concern for her and for us. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28th, at 10:00 am at Smith & Turner Chapel in Yukon followed by interment at Yukon Cemetery.
