Reba Smith- age 83 of Lenoir City passed away Saturday morning, August 10, 2013. She was of the Baptist faith. Reba was retired from Yale & Town after 40 years of service where she acquired many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Harrison (Jimbo) Smith; parents, Elmer Mckinley Parton and Eva Green Parton Massengill; sisters, Faye Parton Shaver, Ruby Parton Hill, Trula Parton Faunce, and Myrtle Parton Shaw; brothers, Elmer McKinley Parton, Jr., Lee Parton, Grady Woodrow Parton, Edward Parton, and Carl Parton.
Survived by her husband of 65 years, Harrison (Duggan) Smith; sons, Ronnie D. Smith and wife, Wanda of Belle Glade, FL and their children, Dwaine Smith of Florida and Tim Smith of Georgia, Troy Smith and wife, Janice and their children, Christopher Smith, Matthew Smith and Jason Smith all of Lenoir City; daughter, Eva J. Ayers and her children, Kristy Nicholson and Sean Nicholson all of Knoxville, the children of the late James Harrison (Jimbo) Smith, Brian Smith of Lenoir City and Tina Ford of North Carolina; brother, David Stanley Massengill of Indiana, along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers: Dwaine Smith, Tim Smith, Chris Smith, Matthew Smith, Jason Smith, Brian Smith and Sean Nicholson. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
