She was retired from Levi Strauss & Co., and served many years as Union President of the United Garment Workers of America, Local 402. Preceded in death by husband, James D. McCroskey ; parents, Harry Allen and Ola Ogle Allen Hamilton; brother, Mark Allen. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Patricia McCroskey of Maryville; grandchildren, Benjamin McCroskey , Jennifer Gomes, and Wesley Gomes; brothers and wives, Bill and Adelia Allen of El Paso, Texas, John and Louise Allen of Knoxville, and James and Jane Allen of N. Charleston, S.C.; sisters and husbands, Ella Mae and Kenneth Carrigan of Alcoa, June and Joe Terry of Elkmont, Alabama, and Bernice and Joe DeSimone of Wapole, N.H., and many loving nieces and nephews. Good friends, Pauline Julian, Bobbye Land, Glenda Branch, and Bill and Elizabeth Pierce. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2001, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev.
