Master Sergeant Frank Wesley Wear, Jr., age 83 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at his home. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. in Europe. Frank was a member of the Masonic Order, Free and Accepted Masons. He worked for the World Bank building roads in Africa. In later years he worked as a school bus driver and at the bus garage for the Sevier County Board of Education.
Frank was born March 5, 1923. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorene Ogle Wear, his parents Frank W. and Della Fox Wear, and sibling Carl and Sam Wear, and Margie Walters.
He leaves behind his:

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pigeon Forge Middle School Library or Gum Stand Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge.
Funeral service 2 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Reagan officiating. Interment will follow in Pigeon Forge Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104. The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
