CLINE , FATE - age 92, of 331 Pleasant Grove Rd, Vonore, passed away 7:50 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2003 at his home. Was a member, deacon and song leader of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and attended his Sunday School Class faithfully for over 25 years. A veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. Survivors: wife of 64 years, Lucy Millsaps Cline devoted nephew, Jim King, Sweetwater brother, Rev. Conward Cline , Madisonville several nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by: daughter, Lorine Cline parents, A.D. & Mary McCalvery Cline sisters, Ezzie Millsaps, Allie Nichols, Clemer Nicholson. Funeral 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Rev. Buford Albright, Rev. Barney Tipton and Rev. Lon Wayne Stamey officiating. Interment in church cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Body will be at the family home after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
