PAYNE , BELVIA H. - age 81 of Maryville died Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Fair Park Nursing Center. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Sam F. Payne ; son-in-law, J.B. Wilson; parents, Harm and Leona Henegar; sisters, Pearl Heaton and Vesta McLemore; brothers, J. W., Virgil, and Delbert Henegar. Survivors include, daughter, Wanda Wilson of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Don Story of Walland;. son and daughter-in- law, David and Debbie Payne of Maryville; grandchildren, Cindy Johnson, Mark Wilson, Lisa Wilson, Thomas Payne , and Tayler Payne ; great grandchildren, Chastity, Grant, and Garrett Wilson, Elliott and Jaden McGaha and Alan Johnson; sisters, Myrtle Byrd and Annie Kress; brother, Arnold Henegar. Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Dr. Glenn Cummings and Don Story officiating. Family and friends will assemble 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the entombment. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Blount County Humane Society, 426 Home Avenue, Maryville, TN 37801 or Parkinson's Disease Foundation, William Black Medical Building, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, 710 West 168th Street, New York, New York 10032-9982.
