Resided in Sevierville, TN
Murrell King, age 77 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Gatlinburg. He was a member of the Masons and was past Master of the Mountain Star Lodge #197.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy M. and Betty L. King; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Ben and Margie King and J.B and Helen King; sister, Deborah McElyea; brother-in-law, Ted Agee; and sister-in-law, Susan King.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce King; daughters, Lisa White and husband, Lyle, Pam Penny and husband, Chuck; grandchildren, Chelsea Williams and husband, Spencer, Drew White, and Hunter Penny; great-granddaughter, Baylee Hillis; brothers, Merion King and wife, Carol, Rex King, Dewey King and wife, Carol; sisters, Shirley Agee, Carolyn Stinnett and husband, Larry; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Mike Trentham and wife, Tana, Glenn Trentham and wife, Mary, and Len McElyea.
Funeral service 2 PM Thursday, January 15th in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Lyle White and Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
