James David “Poppy” Ogle, age 66, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005. He was owner of Mountain Breeze Motel in Pigeon Forge and was retired from the State Highway Department (TDOT). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Lawson Ogle and brother Wayne Dale Ogle.

Daughters: Suzy Campbell and husband Johnny, Jama Franklin and husband Gary
Grandchildren: Katlin Campbell, Alex and Andrea Christie, Travis and Taylor Franklin,

Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Nell and Howard Whitaker, Nancy Tipton, Mary Kate and Dick Momo, Greta Dalton

Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. W. W. Cope, Rev. Wayne Stinnett, and Rev. Tim Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
