Rena Cora (Ownby) Ogle, age 98 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Mrs. Ogle was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was the oldest member of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge. She was a successful business owner in Pigeon Forge as the owner of Wayne's Motel and Mountain Breeze Motel. She also loved the mountains, genealogy, and old harp singing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Ogle; sons, James David Ogle and Wayne Dale Ogle; mother, Lillie Ownby; father, Walter Ownby; brothers, Charles and Roy Ownby; and sisters, Blanche Stinnett and Annabell Trentham.
Survived by:
Daughters-in-law: Mary Ruth Ogle and Sue Jane Ogle
Grandchildren: Cindy Owens, Jama Franklin, and Suzy Campbell
Great-grandchildren: Jason Owens, Alex Christie, Andrea Christie, Katlin Campbell, Travis and Taylor Franklin
